Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management is launching its second infrastructure debt fund as part of its ongoing development of the BRIDGE platform.
The new Luxembourg-regulated fund will have the same investment philosophy as the previous generation and is aiming to raise between EUR 400 million and 800 million.

Built in 2001, the 201,425 square-foot, multi-tenant industrial business park is fully leased and comprised of 2 light industrial buildings containing notable tenants such as PODS Enterprises LLC and Dallas Morning News. In addition to the buildings, DAC acquired 6.5 acre parcel of land for future development purposes. The business park is extremely well located with excellent access off of US-75 North Central Expressway and adjacent to Sam’s Club and Walmart.

Castanea Partners has made an investment in Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, a retailer and wholesaler of branded artisanal ice creams.
With the investment, Castanea becomes the sole outside investor joining the Columbus-based company as owners alongside founder Jeni Britton Bauer, her husband, Charly Bauer, her brother-in-law, Tom Bauer, and longtime friend, CEO John Lowe.

BDC Capital has invested USD6.7 million in Toronto-based Wave, a company that provides online financial tools for small businesses.
This money comes from BDC Capital's new USD150 million IT Venture Fund II announced last month. BDC Capital's investment is part of Wave's Series C funding round, which has now raised USD22.1 million and includes participation from CRV, The Social+Capital Partnership, OMERS Ventures and an unnamed strategic investor in the fintech sector. Wave has earmarked all Series C funds for the ongoing innovation and development of its suite of tools.

The corporate team in Clyde & Co's Tanzania office has advised Silafrica Plastics and Packaging International Limited on the successful investment by AfricInvest Fund III.
Silafrica has operations in Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda and India. The group has been operating since the 1960s providing plastics and packaging solutions to a wide variety of sectors.
Prior to the investment, Silafrica was wholly-owned by the Sumaria Group, a conglomerate with interests in numerous industries across Africa.
