Private equity firm Nautic Partners has successfully completed its fund raising for Nautic Partners VIII, which closed on its hard cap of USD900 million.
Nautic began formal fund raising in October 2015 and raised its cap to USD900 million after receiving strong demand from both new and existing investors.

MyShowcase, the leading distributor of independent beauty products in the UK, has raised GBP3m in two ‘Series A’ funding rounds conducted during 2015 to fuel expansion.
MyShowcase was created in 2012 by Nancy Cruickshank (founder of handbag.com) and Kate Shapland (former beauty correspondent at the Daily Telegraph) to cater for high quality beauty brands that struggle to get national distribution. MyShowcase raised the fresh capital from UK angels in a round managed by D5 Capital.

Koch Equity Development, in conjunction with co-investors including affiliates of Eaglehill Advisorsand MSD Capital, have acquired a minority equity stake in Trident Private Holdings III, the holding company of Transaction Network Services (TNS).
TNS, a portfolio company of Siris Capital Group, provides connectivity and gateway services via a global network enabling its customers to exchange data and information and transact worldwide. Siris acquired TNS in a sponsor-led “take-private” transaction in 2013 and will continue to hold a controlling interest.

GMB Mezzanine Capital has held the successful closing of GMB Mezzanine Capital III, with commitments in excess of USD270,000,000.
GMB exceeded its targeted size with a diversified mix of Limited Partners, including large institutional investors, regional and national banks, family offices and high net worth individuals.

The Fund will generally invest USD3 million to USD25 million
Accountants and business advisers James Cowper Kreston has advised AIM listed Abzena on the raising of GBP20 million through a placing of new shares.
James Cowper Kreston acted as reporting accountant on the fund raising, with the team led by Partner and Head of Corporate Finance Nick Rogers.
Abzena, which was admitted on to AIM last year, is a life sciences company providing services and technologies enabling the development and manufacture of biopharmaceutical products. Since its admission the business has grown significantly organically and via acquisition in both the UK and US.

Golding Capital Partners (GCP) now manages a EUR175 million mandate for infrastructure investments from Düsseldorf-based Nordrheinische Ärtzeversorgung (NÄV), one of Germany's largest private pension funds.
Under the terms of the mandate the commitment will be allocated to a globally diversified portfolio, with a focus on core/core plus investments and existing projects (brownfield investments). This mandate from NÄV takes GCP's funds under management in this asset class to over EUR1.5 billion.

Vista Fund Services (Vista) has selected Linedata Admin Edge to run all its fund administration services in Gibraltar as demand for its specialist services grows.
With business expanding, Vista decided to move away from its in-house system to one designed and supported by investment software specialists. This move was prompted by a growing fund and investor base and the need to adapt to new regulatory regimes, particularly AIFMD.

Resilience Capital Partners has closed its latest fund at its USD350 million hard cap. The target for Resilience Fund IV L.P. was USD300 million.
Investors of the over-subscribed fund include pension funds, insurance companies, foundations and endowments, fund of funds, wealth managers and investment consultants.
Cleveland-based Resilience Capital invests in lower middle market special situations, in businesses with USD25 to USD250 million in revenues. Griffin Financial Group acted as financial advisor and placement agent.
The Russia-Chinа Investment Fund (RCIF) has acquired 23.1 per cent of JSC Detsky Mir from CJSC DM Finance, a subsidiary of Sistema JSFC, a publicly-traded diversified holding company. The total consideration of the transaction is RUB9.75 billion.
Under the terms of the agreement, significant funds from the transaction will be invested in expanding Detsky Mir’s nation-wide network of stores and further developing its logistics platform. This will also extend its modern sales and distribution channels for children’s products throughout Russia and the CIS. Additionally, the Group is considering opportunities for international expansion in the mid-term perspective.
Kirill Dmitriev, CEO of
Mambu, the SaaS banking platform provider, has raised EUR8 million in the company’s latest funding round led by Acton Capital Partners and CommerzVentures with participation also coming from existing investors.
Mambu says it will use the funding to accelerate its expansion following three times year-on-year growth over the last 12 months.
