Sound Point Capital Management (Sound Point) has acted as Administrative Agent on a first lien senior secured credit facility to Lindsay Precast (Lindsay) a North American concrete manufacturer specialising in precast concrete products.  Funding provided by Sound Point was used to support MiddleGround Capital’s (MiddleGround) acquisition of the Company. Headquartered in Ohio and operating for 50-plus years, Lindsay Precast is a designer and manufacturer of engineered precast concrete structures for water/wastewater, utility, solar, transportation, and government end markets. Solvay Ventures, the venture capital fund of Solvay, has invested in Sepion, a California-based start-up that specialises in developing batteries with Li-metal anodes and liquid electrolytes.  The USD16 million round was led by Fine Structure Ventures, and also includes other climate tech investors. The company raised funds to accelerate commercialisation of lithium metal batteries for long-range and low-cost electric vehicles. Li-metal batteries enable high energy density and are strongly sought-after solutions for the electric vehicles market. BCM One, a portfolio company of private equity firm Thompson Street Capital Partners (TSCP), has acquired CoreDial, a provider of white label UCaaS services sold throughout the United States, from members of management and LLR Partners, a Philadelphia-based private equity firm. The acquisition of CoreDial, following BCM One’s previous acquisitions of SkySwitch and Arena One, gives BCM One a significant footprint in the UCaaS space and allows it to serve customers with a variety of leading products.
