CI Financial Corp (CI) has made a strategic investment in GLAS Funds (GLASfunds), a turnkey alternative investment platform and alternative asset management firm based in Cleveland.
Founded in 2009, GLASfunds is a tech-enabled platform providing investors with secure and streamlined digital access to institutional-quality alternative investment opportunities and asset management oversight. It has approximately USD1.1 billion in combined assets under management and assets under contract.
CI’s investment will strengthen GLASfunds’ offering to the broader market, while providing CI Private Wealth clients with enhanced access to alternative asset classes through a best-in-class platform.

Honeycomb Network, an Imperial College London spinout developing smart charging and storage infrastructure for e-scooters and e-bikes to accelerate micromobility adoption in the UK, has secured GBP127,000 in pre-seed funding from SFC Capital, the UK’s most active seed stage investor.
The funding will support the development of prototypes of the company’s storage and charging pods and rollout of a pilot scheme.

TAPTAP was founded in 2010 by Alvaro del Castillo. The business has developed its own software platform called Sonata that helps deliver relevant advertising content to consumers while protecting their privacy. It aggregates and cross references multiple sources of location data, which helps advertisers to increase brand awareness, build purchase interest and boost consideration.

Sequoia Economic Infrastructure Income Fund (SEQI), a FTSE250 specialist economic infrastructure lender, has signed a private bilateral three-year facility agreement of up to USD50 million to EXMAR, the Euronext listed maritime and offshore solutions provider.

Prytek enters the Human Capital space by investing into Hirewell, a US-based talent acquisition solutions firm and merging ICV, an AI sourcing solution (a Prytek technology company) to create a vertical integrated holding and delivering a managed service solution.
