Insurity, a provider of cloud-based software for property and casualty (P&C) carriers, brokers, and MGAs has secured a strategic growth investment from global growth private equity firm TA Associates.
TA, along with Insurity’s current investor GI Partners, plan to further accelerate Insurity’s growth and expand the delivery of the P&C insurance industry’s most configurable, cloud-native, and intuitively analytical software platforms.

EQT is to acquire LSP (Life Sciences Partners), a European life sciences venture capital firm with approximately EUR2.2 billion of assets under management (AUM) and a team of 34 professionals.
LSP, headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is a venture capital firm that invests in innovative companies with strong scientific and clinical rationale across several life sciences strategies. The Company was founded in 1998 and today is one of Europe’s largest and most experienced life sciences investment firms. Located in Telford, PA and founded in 1999, Presto is a provider of commercial pest control services in the middle Atlantic with a particular focus on serving the restaurant industry. Presto is PestCo’s first acquisition. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Fast-growing IT services company Acora has made a third bolt-on acquisition since the investment by Palatine in 2020, and is planning to ramp up further deals in 2022.
The latest deal, for London-based M9 Limited, brings a thriving and forward-looking IT services provider with over 40 staff, and nearly 100 long-term contracted customers to Acora Group.
Founded in 1990, M9 has also established a strong international presence with an offshore team in Kuala Lumpur.

Novo Holdings, aa international life science investor, has co-led the EUR6 million seed financing in Asgard Therapeutics AB (Asgard), a private biotech company pioneering in vivo direct cell reprogramming approaches to elicit potent anti-cancer immune responses.
Asgard pioneers a novel approach to cancer therapy by reprogramming tumor cells into professional antigen presenting cells. Asgard’s lead program is an off-the-shelf gene therapy that induces a personalised immune response. The approach may also help overcome logistic and manufacturing hurdles of more conventional cell-based therapies.
