Monte Nido & Affiliates (Monte Nido), a portfolio company of Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (LLCP), has completed its acquisition of Walden Behavioral Care (Walden). Monte Nido is one of the USA’s most established eating disorder treatment providers.
Founded in 2003 and based in Waltham, Massachusetts, Walden is an industry pioneer, offering inpatient, residential, partial hospitalisation and intensive outpatient programmes in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Georgia. Walden opened the Walden Behavioral Care Center for Recovery in 2020, one of the largest 24-hour inpatient and residential care facilities dedicated to the treatment of eating disorders in the US.

Sentinel Capital Partners, a private equity firm that invests in promising companies at the lower end of the midmarket, has invested in a new partnership with Midwest Eye Consultants (Midwest Eye), a management service provider to eye care practices in Indiana and northwest Ohio. Midwest Eye is owned and managed by its founding doctors. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

An affiliate of global alternative asset management firm HIG Capital (HIG) has sold Fiora Bath Collections to The Engineered Stone Group (ES Group).
Fiora is a leading manufacturer of resin shower trays, bathroom furniture, wall panels, washbasins, and other bathroom products, operating from a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant located in Nájera (La Rioja, Spain) and selling its products to over 30 countries.

Diversis Capital Management (Diversis), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm focused on investing in software and technology-enabled services organisations, has announced the completion of Diversis Capital Partners II (the “Fund”), with USD675 million of total commitments three months after formal launch.
The oversubscribed fund includes a broad group of global investors and surpassed its target of USD500 million, as well as exceeded its inaugural fund raise of USD255 million raised in 2019.

Numan, a European digital platform for men’s health, has raised USD40 million in a series B funding round to fuel its expansion and meet the growing demand for digital health services.
The round was led by White Star Capital, with participation from existing investors Novator, Vostok New Global, Anthemis Exponential and Colle Capital, and new investor Hanwha Dream Fund.

Precision fermentation company Formo has closed a USD50 million Series A financing round led by EQT Ventures, with Elevat3 Capital and Lowercarbon Capital as co-leads.
