San Francisco-based Telos Brands, a technology-first eCommerce company focused on the Amazon FBA ecosystem, announced a USD2.1 million seed round led by Picus Capital with participation from select business angels.
Telos has also raised an undisclosed amount of debt from several financing partners to support acquisitions.

L Squared Capital Partners has acquired of Chicago-based Sterling Trading Tech (STT) from LLR Partners and other investors, a SaaS provider of financial technology for the global capital markets.
The investment represents L Squared’s fourth platform investment in Fund III, a USD505 million private equity fund that closed in September 2020. STT’s management also participated in the acquisition.

Macquarie Capital is to sell Dovel Technologies (Dovel) to Guidehouse, a portfolio company of Veritas Capital.
Dovel is a leading expert to federal agencies that blends deep domain expertise and advanced technologies in the health IT, life sciences, public safety and grants management markets.

Tidal energy specialist Nova Innovation has secured GBP6.4 million from the Scottish National Investment Bank to fund manufacturing and distribution of its subsea tidal turbines. The investment will see Nova increase its presence across the UK and expand into new global markets.
