Lawyers from Carey Olsen’s investment funds team in Jersey have advised European mid-market private equity firm Capvis on the disposal of the remaining portfolio of Capvis Equity III to a new Capvis-managed continuation structure. The transaction was co-led by Committed Advisors SAS and Eurazeo IM, with the continuation vehicle providing time and additional capital for the exit of the existing portfolio companies, hessnatur, arena and Kaffee Partner.   Hessnatur is a German eco-fashion company with a focus on sustainability and a rapidly growing e-commerce business, arena is a global producer of swimwear and equipment for competitive swimmers and enthusiasts, and

ARQIS has advised London Stock Exchange listed Oxford Metrics on the indirect acquisition of Contemplas, a specialist in video-based movement analysis.  Oxford Metrics in an international software company servicing infrastructure, life sciences, entertainment and engineering markets. Funds advised by private equity firm Apax Partners (Apax) and global growth investor Warburg Pincus, have agreed to acquire T-Mobile Netherlands Holding from Deutsche Telekom AG and Tele2 AB. The transaction values the company at an Enterprise Value of EUR5.1bn.

A company, whose software helps hospitality businesses to boost sales, has raised GBP500 thousand from NPIF – Mercia Equity Finance, which is managed by Mercia and is part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund (NPIF). The funding will allow Airship Services to take advantage of increased demand following the re-opening of bars and restaurants. Turquoise, a UK merchant bank specialising in energy, environment and efficiency, has invested in bio-bean through its Low Carbon Innovation Fund 2 (LCIF2).  The investment of GBP350,000 is part of an overall round of GBP1.25million.
