Upflow has raised USD15 million to ‘revolutionise’ how B2B companies get paid. The company provides a SaaS solution that enables companies to radically modernise their entire cash-cycle, and effortlessly collect customer payments. Upflow now processes more than USD200 million worth of invoices a month, for over 1.5 million transacting companies. The funding round includes participation from 9yards Capital and existing investor eFounders. TA Associates, a global growth private equity firm is to sell Paula’s Choice, a leading digital-led skin care brand, to Unilever, one of the world’s leading suppliers of Beauty & Personal Care, Home Care, and Foods & Refreshment products. Keensight Capital, a private equity managers dedicated to pan-European Growth Buyout investments, is to acquire a majority stake in Adista, an alternative B2B hosted services provider.  Upon completion of the transaction, Keensight will take over from Equistone Partners Europe (Equistone) as Adista’s majority shareholder alongside FEF, the co-investment partnership between Mubadala and Bpifrance and the management team led by Patrice Bélie. Adista, a specialist in IT and telecom services, supports the digitalisation of a diverse customer base, made up of private-sector players (from SMEs to large companies) and public-sector organisations (hospitals and local authorities), with a full range of services.
Scurri, a cloud-based software provider connecting and optimising the eCommerce ordering, shipping, and delivery process, has secured a EUR9 million in an investment round led by Gresham House Ventures.  Existing investors including family offices represented by Millview advisory, Pa Nolan and others are continuing to support the company in this round, which brings the Wexford-based company’s total funding to EUR15.3 million to date.  Scurri currently derives over 70 per centof its revenue from the UK, and will power over 100 million parcel deliveries this year by enabling merchants to present the most efficient delivery option via more than 700 carrier
Apollo Precision Manufacturing Limited (Apollo), an investment vehicle managed by EverEdge Capital, has acquired Accord Precision Limited (Accord), NZ’s largest certified precision manufacturing and assembly business.  Accord provides end-to-end precision manufacturing and assembly — from R&D and consultative design through to complete assembly and distribution. The business was established 50 years ago and achieved close to NZD30 million in sales for the year ending 31 March 2021. Entities, clients and funds managed by its affiliates of Apollo Global Management (the Apollo Funds) have committed to invest up to USD500 million in senior secured credit facilities originated by Victory Park Capital (VPC), a global investment firm with an extensive track record in asset-backed credit origination for emerging and established companies.
