Quantum-Si Incorporated (QSi), a specialist in next-generation semiconductor chip-based proteomics, has completed its business combination with HighCape Capital Acquisition Corp (HighCape), a special purpose acquisition company sponsored by leading healthcare growth equity manager HighCape Capital LP.
The business combination and concurrent private placement, which were approved by HighCape’s stockholders at its special meeting held on 9 June, 2021, provide over USD500 million to fund the further development and planned commercialisation of the company’s single-molecule, semiconductor chip-based protein sequencing and genomics technology.
Following the transaction, the combined company was renamed Quantum-Si Incorporated, and its Class A common stock and warrants
Arrington Capital, a digital asset management firm in blockchain-based capital markets, has launched a new USD100 million fund to support initiatives building on Algorand, a blockchain accelerating the convergence of decentralised and traditional finance.
The Arrington Algo Growth Fund (AAGF) aims to encourage and spur additional development on Algorand, which has seen significant growth and adoption recently across DeFi (decentralised finance), traditional finance, the public sector, NFT space and more.

TreasurySpring, the London-based financial technology company that operates the world’s first Fixed-Term Fund platform has closed its latest capital raise, securing more than USD10 million of new investment in a round that was co-led by MMC Ventures and Anthemis Group, with participation from existing investors, including ETFS Capital.
