BGF has exited its minority stake in Vysiion Group, a communications infrastructure and outsourced IT service provider. The business has been acquired by Exponential-e, a cloud, network and unified communications company.BGF has backed the Wiltshire-based Vysiion since 2015, following a GBP4 million investment. Odyssey Investment Partners (Odyssey) has acquired NSi Industries from Blue Sea Capital LLC.  Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. NSi is a leading supplier of a wide variety of electrical connector, fitting, control and wire management products for construction, maintenance and repair applications. Alternative student transportation company, ALC Schools (ALC), has been acquired by an affiliate of Palladium Equity Partners, a private equity firm based in New York, NY. The student transportation provider, which saw record numbers in 2019 in terms of transporting special-needs, McKinney-Vento, and displaced students for school districts, says Palladium’s partnership will help support continued growth. “We’re very excited about the future of ALC with this acquisition. HS Orka, an Icelandic renewable energy and utility company 50 per cent owned by Ancala Partners, has secured a USD210 million financing package with a group of leading European commercial lenders.HS Orka has also made three senior management appointments, with Tómas Már Sigurdsson joining as Chief Executive Officer, Björk Þórarinsdóttir as Chief Financial Officer and Sunna Björg Helgadóttir as Chief Technology Officer. The new financing comprises a term loan, capex facility and a revolving credit facility. Perfume
BlackRock Long Term Private Capital will become the new majority shareholder in Creed, the Paris-based multi-century old luxury fragrance company.  Creed executive Javier Ferrán will become chairman of the company’s board of directors and join as an investor. Ferrán, who has experience with niche luxury brands and in working with European family-owned businesses, assumes his responsibilities following the transaction. He will work closely with founder Olivier Creed, who will continue as the master perfumer of the fragrance house.
