Sixpoint Partners has announced the successful closing of Incline Elevate Fund with USD314.5 million of total capital commitments. The Fund, which is the fifth investment vehicle and first fund extension vehicle for Incline Equity Partners (Incline), easily surpassed its initial hard cap of USD300 million after only two months of marketing. Chicago-based private equity firm CORE Industrial Partners’ (CORE) portfolio company Prototek has acquired Cal-X, a provider of precision machining and sheet metal fabrication rapid prototyping services.  Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.   Headquartered in Wisconsin, Cal-X offers rapid prototyping and short-run production services through its wide breadth of in-house capabilities. Founded in 2002, Cal-X serves a blue-chip customer base across a broad mix of end markets, including medical, robotics & electronics, aerospace, and transportation. Signavio, a provider of business transformation solutions, has announced a USD177 million investment to fuel continued international expansion and further investment in its world-class software suite.  The transaction was led by Apax Digital, the growth equity team of Apax Partners, with participation from DTCP. Frontier Development Capital (FDC), an established fund manager operating debt funds in England, has relocated its Birmingham headquarters. The firm has moved its operations and 25 staff from Baskerville House to a 5,246 sq ft office on 45 Church Street in the heart of the city’s business district.   FDC provides access to investments of up to GBP10million, deploying flexible capital to mid-market businesses across England. Wren Sterling has acquired TD Armstrong Financial Planning Limited (T D Armstrong), a Dunfermline-based independent financial planning business. The deal will secure around GBP116 million of assets under advice, taking Wren Sterling’s total assets under advice to GBP3.3 billion.   Wren Sterling has over 100 advisers based in eight regional offices across the UK.
