Five Sigma, a cloud-native Claims Management solution provider, has extended its Series A round with funding from Aquiline Technology Growth (ATG), bringing the company’s total funding to date to over USD20 million.
The company’s Series A funding was initially announced in September of 2021.
Five Sigma optimises claims management by adding automated claims processing workflows, using data modeling and AI to provide smart recommendations, resulting in increased operational efficiencies, an enhanced customer experience, accelerated times to resolution and the amelioration of the claims management process. Current customers include INSHUR, Hippo, Marshmallow, Qover and others.

Iterative Scopes, a specialist in the development of precision-based gastrointestinal (GI) disease technologies and software, has raised USD150 million in Series B financing to accelerate development of its core algorithmic innovations that are designed to transform gastroenterology care for patients.

European private equity firm IK Partners, via the IK Small Cap III Fund, is to acquire FCG, from international private equity group Bridgepoint.
The deal, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

CBPE Capital (CBPE) has completed its investment in Direct Commercial Limited (DCL) and Carraig insurance Company Limited (Carraig) (together Direct Commercial Group, DCG) alongside Phil Cunningham (founder and CEO) and Management.
DCL is a commercial motor insurance specialist. As a full-service MGA (Managing General Underwriter/Agent), DCL provides underwriting services, offers policy administration and in-house claims handling.
The group also includes Carraig, an insurance carrier based in Gibraltar, which provides insurance capacity to DCL alongside Munich Re Group.
Phil Cunningham remains majority shareholder and fully committed to the business during the next phase of growth.
