O’Melveny has represented Augury, an AI-based machine health solution provider with offices in Haifa, Israel and New York, on its acquisition of Alluvium, a startup that provides real-time machine insights to support safe, stable, and efficient industrial operations. With the acquisition, Augury becomes the first industrial analytics company to provide both mechanical and operational insights on a single platform. The deal also joins Alluvium’s team with Augury’s, boosting innovation.   The Silicon Valley-based O’Melveny team included partner Einat Meisel, and associates Bhavreet Singh Gill and AJ Talt.
Mid Europa Partners, a leading private equity investor in Central and Eastern Europe, has completed the acquisition of intive. intive is an international provider of software development services with over 1,600 qualified specialists in 19 offices worldwide. Combining design and technology, intive has become the digitalisation partner of choice for many international corporations across multiple industry verticals including automotive, high-tech, industrial, media, as well as consumer and financial services.
Pan-African private equity firm Development Partners International (DPI) has invested USD35 million from the African Development Partners II fund (ADP II) into International Facilities Services (IFS), a facilities management specialist in Africa. IFS provides a full suite of specialist facility management services to clients on remote sites across the African continent, including catering, maintenance, laundry and housekeeping. Employing over 2000 people, IFS operates across a diverse range of geographies, with key customers in numerous African countries including Mozambique, DRC, Namibia, Zambia, South Africa and Lesotho, and services a broad range of sectors including hospitality, natural resources, shipping and mining. Dentons has advised Graphite Capital on the sale of UK skincare specialist, sk:n to European and US-focussed private equity firm TriSpan. SysGroup is to acquire Certus IT Limited, for an initial cash consideration of GBP8.0 million. The company has also raised GBP10.0 million from the capital markets, which, in addition to its new GBP5.0 million banking facility from Santander, will enable greater fire power for complementary future acquisitions. ARQIS has advised AVS Verkehrssicherung (AVS), a portfolio company of Triton Fonds IV, on the acquisition of Schötz Verkehrs- und Arbeitsstellensicherung (Schötz), a provider of traffic and construction site security based in Fürth, Germany.
