Mid-market investment bank Carl Marks Securities has acted as the financial advisor to PowerTown Line Construction in its sale to Entregado Group Inc, a portfolio company of AEA Investors.

Edge’s investment follows a pivotal year for Festicket, which closed the year with an earlier series D funding round led by transatlantic venture capital firm Beringea.

Private equity firm TriSpan has completed the acquisition of UK skincare specialist sk:n, from Graphite Capital, via its TriSpan Opportunities Fund.
The investment group, which has offices in London and New York, will work with the existing senior management team to continue to develop and expand the sk:n business – a skincare specialist, with 51 clinics across the UK offering a range of non-surgical skin and cosmetic treatments. Founded in 1986, sk:n clinics utilise the latest skincare technologies and offer access to the country’s best doctors, dermatologists and skin practitioners with the highest levels of training and expertise.

Willis Towers Watson has completed its acquisition of Integra Capital Limited (Integra Capital), a Canadian investment management company. Integra Capital is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Willis Towers Watson.

Private equity firm GTCR has completed the previously announced acquisitions of Ultimus Fund Solutions and The Gemini Companies in a strategic combination.
The combined company, which will operate as Ultimus Fund Solutions, is a provider of full service fund administration, accounting and investor solutions to traditional and alternative fund managers. On behalf of its clients, the combined company services approximately USD150 billion of assets under administration and over 840 total funds.

Three Hills Capital Partners (THCP) has held the final close of its third fund, Three Hills Capital Solutions III (the Fund) at its hard cap of EUR540 million after exceeding the original target of EUR400m at the first closing in September.
Three Hills Capital Partners was advised by Rede Partners, an independent fundraising and secondaries adviser to the private equity industry.
THCP’s third fund has attracted over half of its support from new institutional investors across Europe, North America and Australasia with the remaining capital coming from the ongoing support of its strategic investor base of highly connected families
Starboard Value is making a USD200 million strategic investment in Papa John’s International, with the option to make an additional USD50 million investment through 29 March 2019.
In connection with the investment, the Papa John’s Board of Directors is expanding to include two new independent directors, including Jeffrey C Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Starboard, who has been appointed Chairman of the Papa John’s Board, and Anthony M Sanfilippo, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc.
