Section Partners, which provides creative financing solutions for stock and option holders of late-stage, venture-backed private companies, has closed a third fund with commitments totalling USD74 million.
Investors include a global fixed income investment manager, family offices, and individual investors, including a number of prominent venture capitalists and Silicon Valley tech executives.

Apex Group (Apex) has completed the acquisition of private equity administrator Ipes, adding USD165 billion in assets under administration to the Group’s portfolio.
The addition of the Ipes business further strengthens Apex’s breadth of service and expertise in the private equity space while also solidifying its position as one of the largest private equity fund administrators in the world.

Dechert LLP has advised Ares Management Limited (Ares) on the refinancing of Daisy Group (Daisy) to support the founder of the business, Matthew Riley in an MBO from existing minority investor Toscafund.
The refinancing of Daisy is one of the largest European private credit transactions completed.
Daisy was founded in 2001 by executive chairman Matthew Riley and has since grown to be the leading independent provider of IT, communications and cloud services to UK businesses.
