PwC has appointed Stuart McKee (pictured) to the role of corporate finance leader in the UK. McKee was previously responsible for the mergers and acquisitions business within corporate finance and has a background in the retail and consumer sector.
Neil Sutton, the outgoing leader, has taken on the role of chairman of corporate finance, focussing exclusively on generating and leading transactions, managing key clients and building the profile of the corporate finance business.
Further new appointments within the corporate finance business include Sean Williams to head of M&A and Ray Mills to head of infrastructure and government. Completing the leadership team is Nick Atkinson, who has recently joined PwC as head of the debt advisory business.
McKee, partner, PwC, says: “I am excited to be taking on this role at a time of great opportunity for our business. Transactional activity is slowly picking up and we are very well positioned to provide clear, independent, sector focused advice to our clients. Our international network has never been more important and is a source of real differentiation at a time when cross-border activity is a feature of so many transactions.”
Sutton, partner, PwC, adds: “My new role is focussed on building long term relationships with clients, which reflects our whole approach in this area. We have continued to invest in the business, bringing in four new partners this month, and have a great team with which to move forward under Stuart’s leadership.”
