Pathway, a private market portfolio solutions provider with more than USD90 billion of assets under management from private equity, private credit, and infrastructure mandates, has appointed Andrea Almeida Mack as a Senior Vice President–Head of Consultant Relations in the firm’s Providence, Rhode Island, office. Pathfinder Medical – a medical device company improving outcomes for vascular procedures – has secured an GBP8.5 million funding round led by investors BGF and Parkwalk, along with a number of industry insiders, and with support from existing investor Deepbridge Capital. Osceola Capital-backed PayrHealth has acquired SilverCreek RCM, a full-service revenue cycle management (RCM) company serving healthcare providers across the US. PayrHealth can now offer its proven RCM solution with 15-plus years’ experience delivering operational excellence and outcomes to its clients.    The integration of the two businesses is on track to be completed by the end of January 2022.
Middle market private equity firm Odyssey Investment Partners has promoted nine members of its investment team, effective 1 January, 2022.
Vinter, Europe’s fastest-growing index provider specialised in crypto assets, has raised a further USD3.4m as it continues to expand its range of crypto asset indexes for ETP and ETF issuers. The round was led by Octopus Ventures, with participation from the Ricketts family office, D4 Ventures, Pfeffer Capital and notable angels including Gokul Rajaram, Marc Powers and David Chreng.
Mention Me, a customer advocacy platform, has secured USD25 million in a Series B round, led by Octopus Ventures. Lead investor from the prior round Eight Roads Ventures also participated.   The London-based scale-up, which helps businesses turn referrals into a strategic channel for acquiring high-quality customers, while gathering valuable first-party data that amplifies wider marketing activity, will use the funds to support its vision to make every brand think advocacy-first by expanding into the US, investing in its partner network (which includes Klaviyo, TrustPilot, Ometria and SAP) and developing its product offering.
Global investment firm NPX Capital, through its private equity arm, NPX Private Equity, has invested USD43 million into digital content developer Copin Communications. Founded in 2017, Copin Communications is a digital content developer with specialties in character design, emoji, webtoon and animation productions.  In September 2021, NPX Capital made its first investment in Copin Communications worth USD13 million. Since then, NPX Capital has been closely cooperating with Copin Communications, which led to the additional investment, which will be used to strengthen and diversify digital content production capabilities as well as to support business expansion overseas, targeting promising global markets including
MidEuropa portfolio company intive has completed three acquisitions to expand its global footprint and accelerate its scale-up. The digital design and engineering services specialist operates an outsourced digital product development model which combines local onshore presence with nearshoring delivery capability in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Latin America. intive’s recent acquisitions are: US-based Spark Digital, a digital consulting, design, and development services provider; US-based SimTLiX, a digital transformation partner for some of the biggest Fortune 500 companies; and Ireland-based Ammeon, a digital transformation and solutions partner.
Maven Capital Partners (Maven) invested a total of GBP10 million in 18 dynamic, high growth businesses in the North East region in 2021. This significant level of investment has been achieved through Maven’s management of regional funds in the North East, alongside its suite of private equity funds.
