Eir Ventures Partners AB, a Nordic Life Science Venture Capital manager, has held the final close of its fund Eir Ventures I AB of EUR122.3 million.
Eir Ventures I AB is the firm’s first dedicated life sciences venture capital fund which was launched in 2020 with support from a strong investor syndicate comprising the European Investment Fund (EIF), Novo Holdings, Saminvest, Vækstfonden, as well as a group of prominent Nordic universities, family offices and the founding partners of Eir Ventures.
Atar Capital, a Los Angeles-based global private investment firm, is to sell RWS Facility Services (RWS) to Quest Resource Holding Corporation (Quest), a specialist in environmental waste and recycling services.
Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
RWS, which was acquired by Atar Capital in September 2017, delivers hands-on managed solutions for waste management, commodity recycling and facilities services.

Clinigen is a global pharmaceutical services and products company focused on providing ethical access to medicines. Triton is a leading European private equity investment firm with a focus on four core areas: healthcare (including pharmaceuticals), consumer, business services, and industrials.
Actis has exited its investment in Mouka Limited (Mouka), a Nigerian provider of branded mattresses and bedding products, to Dolidol for a transaction value of around USD70 million.
Dolidol, a Moroccan bedding sector specialist, will become a pan-African operator as a result of this transformational acquisition.
The investment in Mouka dates back to 2015, with a 90 per cent stake in the company being owned by the fund in partnership with the founding Moukarim family, who continued to hold a 10 per cent stake in the business and remained committed to its success

Crypto venture capital fund Lemniscap has led a USD4.4 million seed funding round in JellyFi, a capital-efficient DeFi lending protocol that will soon enable uncollateralised crypto loans.
