Seraphim Space Investment Trust, a closed-ended investment company which invests in a diversified international portfolio of early and growth-stage Space Tech businesses, has acquired the holding of Spire Global (Spire) from the Seraphim Space LP (Seraphim Space Fund). As set out in the IPO prospectus, following its IPO Seraphim Space will acquire four assets from the Seraphim Space Fund for newly issued ordinary shares in the Company. Maven Capital Partners (Maven) has led a GBP4.4 million investment in Candle Shack, an eCommerce business supplying candle making components as well as providing contract candle manufacture for high profile, luxury brands.  The transaction includes GBP3 million of funding from Maven’s high net worth investment syndicate, Maven Investor Partners, as well as a GBP1.4 million debt facility from HSBC UK. L Squared Capital Partners has acquired  of Chicago-based Sterling Trading Tech (STT) from LLR Partners and other investors, a SaaS provider of financial technology for the global capital markets.  The investment represents L Squared’s fourth platform investment in Fund III, a USD505 million private equity fund that closed in September 2020.
