Palatine-backed Construction Testing Solutions (CTS), a provider of construction consulting and testing services, has completed the acquisition of Silkstone Environmental Limited (SEL), a multi-disciplined consultancy specialising in minerals and waste management planning & permitting, site investigation, environmental monitoring and surveying.  Based in Sheffield, Silkstone Environmental employs 12 staff and operates across the UK. Founded in 2000, the company is a well-established planning consultancy and environmental monitoring business providing a variety of solutions to the quarry, landfill and civil engineering sectors. GCA and Houlihan Lokey, the global investment bank, have entered into a definitive agreement under which Houlihan Lokey will commence a tender offer to acquire GCA. Under the terms of the agreement, which has been unanimously approved by the GCA Board of Directors and the Houlihan Lokey Board of Directors, Houlihan Lokey will commence a tender offer on 4 August, 2021 to acquire all outstanding shares of GCA.   Houlihan Lokey is a global investment bank with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financial restructuring, and valuation. Gen II Fund Services (Gen II), an independent private equity fund administrator, has acquired Stone Pine Accounting Services (Stone Pine), a Denver-based provider of private equity fund administration, tax and investor services.  Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Founded in 1998, Stone Pine provides tailored services to a variety of private equity fund structures. The addition further enhances Gen II’s service offerings, expands the firm’s footprint in the Western US, and increases its headcount to more than 750.
