Apparis, a vegan fashion brand best known for its bold and colourful faux fur coats, has closed a USD3 million seed round funding, led by Third Kind Venture Capital.Founded in 2016 and based in New York City, Apparis has quickly grown a cult following for their high quality, high fashion, and cruelty-free outerwear.
This seed round was led by Third Kind Venture Capital, with a major investment from Exor Seeds, the venture fund affiliated with the Agnelli family. Several angel investors participated in the round, among them Karlie Kloss (supermodel and entrepreneur), Francesco Carozzini (Italian director and photographer), and Cam
Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm focused on growth investing, and Martis Capital, a private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare sector, have agreed to merge their respective portfolio companies, Qualifacts and Credible Behavioral Health. The combination of these best-in-class technology companies will elevate the experience of behavioural health and human service providers while positioning the combined company for continued innovation and thought leadership in the market.
The company will be led by David Klements, CEO of Qualifacts. Matthew Dorman, CEO of Credible, will continue as a strategic advisor to the company.

Ara Partners, a private equity firm specialising in decarbonisation investments, has made a majority investment in Path Environmental Technology (Path), an industrial services provider headquartered in Houston, Texas. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Path, founded in 2014 and formerly known as Sweat Energy Services, cleans above ground storage tanks (ASTs) and rail tank cars using proprietary methods to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, waste generation and hazardous man hours. Path’s differentiated service offering—unique technologies coupled with highly trained personnel—serves the agriculture, chemical, food & beverage, petrochemical, pulp & paper and refining industries throughout North America.

Humatica, a private equity specialist adviser for portfolio organisational effectiveness, has advised private equity firm Baird Capital on its acquisition of a majority interest in eCube Solutions Limited, an aircraft disassembly and end of life services provider based in St Athan, Wales and Castellón, Spain.eCube provides storage, disassembly and parts re-use and recycling services to global aircraft owners in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, including major airlines and aircraft leasing companies. Baird’s investment will support the continued growth of the UK business alongside supporting rapid growth in its new continental European facility, expanding parking availability and additional disassembly capacity.
NTR has successfully completed a EUR370 million portfolio refinance of a 220 MW onshore wind portfolio for its NTR Wind 1 LP fund. The fund was established by NTR to construct and operate onshore wind projects availing of the attractive REFIT (Ireland) and ROC (UK) long-term supports. With all projects in the fund now in operation from earlier this year, NTR availed of the opportunity to replace the existing individual project financing packages with a highly competitive and flexible portfolio refinance.

ReliaQuest, a cybersecurity managed service and intelligence platform for global enterprises, has raised over USD300 million in growth financing in a round led by leading global investment firm KKR, with participation from Ten Eleven Ventures and ReliaQuest founder and CEO Brian Murphy.
The investment, which follows USD30 million in growth equity from FTV Capital – who partnered with the firm in 2016 – will support ReliaQuest in accelerating the company’s growth initiatives, including international expansion and platform development.

Providence Strategic Growth (PSG), the growth equity affiliate of asset management firm Providence Equity Partners (Providence), has completed a majority investment in Sympa, a leading provider of cloud-based human capital management (HCM) software in the Nordics.
Alfvén & Didrikson, an active, long-term backer of Nordic businesses with international growth potential, invested in Sympa in 2016 and will retain a minority stake alongside the company’s founding team. PSG team members Edward Hughes, Aldo Mareuse, and Tobias Richter have joined Sympa’s board of directors. Financial terms were not disclosed.
