Chicago-based private equity firm CORE Industrial Partners’ (CORE) portfolio company Fathom has acquired GPI Prototype & Manufacturing Services (GPI), a metal additive manufacturing services provider.CORE acquired Midwest Composite Technologies in 2018, and FATHOM and ICOMold in 2019. All four companies will be moving forward under the FATHOM brand.

AST Private Company Solutions (AST PCS) has partnered with Standish Management, a fund administration provider to private equity with over USD130-plus billion under administration. Users of PCS’s Astrella capitalisation (cap) table and ownership tracking platform will be able to integrate relevant ownership data from Astrella to Standish. Standish will use this data to support limited partner (LP) financial reporting and communications, capital calls and distributions and partnership accounting.

Onex Corporation has promoted Bobby Le Blanc to President. Le Blanc will oversee all of Onex’ business units and become the sole Head of Onex Partners, the firm’s flagship private equity strategy. Gerry Schwartz will remain Chairman and CEO, with Le Blanc reporting to him.

Arlington Capital Partners (Arlington Capital), a Washington DC-based private equity firm, is to sell Centauri to KBR for USD827 million. Centauri is an independent provider of space, directed energy, and other advanced technology solutions to the United States Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. Centauri is headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia with 22 offices strategically positioned within the United States and employs more than 1,750, half of whom have advanced degrees.
