Align Capital Partners (ACP) has closed its second private equity investment fund, Align Capital Partners Fund II, LP and Align Capital Partners Fund II-A, LP (ACP II) at its hard cap of USD450 million.
Verdane, a Northern European specialist growth equity investor, has acquired Confirmit, a global solutions provider for Customer Experience (CX), Employee Experience and Market Research. Verdane is the major investor in data visualisation reporting firm Dapresy and will merge the two companies.

Parthenon Capital, a growth-oriented private equity firm, has sold its position in portfolio company ScentAir Holdings (ScentAir).The transaction represents the culmination of a successful five-year partnership with ScentAir’s management team, led by Chief Executive Officer Dan Connors. Connors and his team will continue to lead the company going forward. The private equity arm of CITIC Capital Holdings Limited (CITIC Capital) led the new investment in the Company.

Austin-based Eventus Systems, a global trade surveillance and market risk software platform provider, has just raised USD10.5 million of growth capital in a Series A investment round. Investors included a range of venture capital and financial services organisations, led by Chicago-based Jump Capital and Austin-based LiveOak Venture Partners.
The funds will enable Eventus to further enhance its technology, significantly increase its sales, development and service staff globally and continue to grow its customer base. Also participating in the round were existing customers and investors, including Coinbase Ventures and Chimera Securities.

An affiliate of HIG Capital has acquired Vernacare Limited (Vernacare), an international healthcare products specialist. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.Established in 1964, Vernacare is an industry-leading manufacturer of infection control systems. It has pioneered single-use toileting systems globally, offering patients hygienic care and provides healthcare institutions with efficient, cost effective and environmentally sound toileting and bathing solutions.
