Ironwood Capital has exited its debt and minority equity investment in American Residuals Group, the holding company of Denali Water Solutions (Denali), to TPG Growth, a middle market and growth equity platform of alternative asset firm TPG. Until December 2020, when its transition period will come to an end, the UK will remain a member of the EU customs union and the single market, and the cross-border provision of financial services with the EU will be guaranteed. Sovereign Capital Partners, a private equity Buy & Build specialist, has exited its investment in Arachas Corporate Brokers (Arachas), a commercial insurance brokerage in Ireland to certain funds controlled and managed by Madison Dearborn Partners (MDP) and HPS Investment Partners (HPS). The exit, which follows three years of Sovereign’s partnership with Arachas, delivers a 5.5-times money return to investors.

Avignon Capital, a European property investment firm and asset manager has completed the sale of the Ampere asset in Berlin to RFR Holding for a purchase price in excess of EUR80 million.The Ampere building is a unique listed property built in 1926 and is a former electricity transformer station (Umspannwerk), which was converted into offices in 2010. The 11,678 sqm building is located in Prenzlauer Berg, an area widely regarded as a ‘tech-cluster’ in Berlin, and increasingly popular with young creative companies.
