Siguler Guff, a multi-strategy private equity investment firm with over USD14 billion of assets under management, announced today that it has completed fundraising for its Small Buyout Opportunities Fund IV. Fund IV, which was oversubscribed, closed at USD1.575 billion after six months of fundraising, exceeding its USD1.25 billion target. The Fund’s re-up rate was over 90 per cent, a significant vote of confidence from existing investors.

Bowmark Capital, a mid-market private equity firm, has appointed Roy Mani as a partner. Mani has over 20 years’ experience as a private equity investor, most recently at CapVest where he was head of small cap investments.
Previously, Mani was a partner at STAR Capital where he worked for 14 years, having started his career at Daiwa Europe and Credit Suisse. He has a long track record of successful investment in UK and Continental European buyouts, with a particular focus on the business services, healthcare and infrastructure sectors.

Monument Group has advised venture capital fund-of-funds manager Unicorn Capital Partners (Unicorn) on fundraising for Unicorn Capital Partners Fund III (Fund III), which closed at its hard cap of US$D50 million in capital commitments. Similar to the previous funds, Fund III will focus on China-based technology-enabled consumer, enterprise, broad TMT and healthcare investment managers.
The investor base for Fund III, which closed on 31 December, 2019, includes both new and existing investors and is comprised of leading endowments, foundations, pension funds, family offices and successful technology entrepreneurs.
