Pathway Capital Management has closed on a USD1 billion private credit fund. Pathway Private Credit Fund II will provide debt financing in support of acquisition, recapitalisation, refinancing, and growth capital transactions sponsored by leading private equity firms. To date, Pathway has committed more than USD5.7 billion to private credit opportunities since it began investing in the asset class in 1994, and has created more than 90 customised programs for its investors since its inception. Pathway has committed more than USD85 billion across a wide variety of private market strategies since its inception in 1991.
Clayton, Dubilier & Rice has appointed Harsh Agarwal as a Principal on its investment team. Agarwal, who is based in the Firm’s New York office, is principally engaged in evaluating and executing investments in the software and technology-enabled services sectors.Prior to CD&R, Agarwal spent nine years at EQT Partners in New York and TPG Capital in San Francisco, where he focused on transactions in the technology and media sectors. HarbourVest Partners, a global private markets asset manager, has held the final close of its flagship US fund, HarbourVest Fund XI. Clean energy solutions provider, Logan Energy, has secured GBP1 million investment from Kelvin Capital via its International collaboration with Henan Lanxing Power Equipment Co Ltd (Lanxing) to build on its hydrogen technology capabilities and develop operations in the Chinese market.This joint venture with Lanxing will kick off in 2020 and will see Logan Energy perform similar business functions in China to its current hydrogen tech activities throughout the UK and Europe. The Foresight Global Real Infrastructure Fund (GRIF) has reached a Net Asset Value of GBP100 million in just seven months following launch in June 2019.The Fund has consistently outperformed its objective of UK CPI +3 per cent over the medium term, through its strategy of investing in renewable energy and infrastructure asset-owning companies.
