HIG WhiteHorse, the credit affiliate of global alternative asset management firm HIG Capital (HIG), has closed the HIG WhiteHorse Principal Lending Fund with capital commitments of approximately USD1.1 billion. The Fund will continue HIG’s investment strategy of investing in tailored senior secured financing solutions to primarily, off-the-run, sponsor owned companies in North America.

One Equity Partners (OEP), a middle market private equity firm, has completed an investment in Computer Design and Integration (CDI), a provider of IT infrastructure hardware and software, consulting and managed services. As part of the transaction, CDI’s founder and management team rolled over a substantial portion of their interests and retained a significant ownership stake in the Company. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

The Novo Holdings REPAIR Impact Fund has made a EUR7 million investment in Mutabilis, a company developing novel antibacterials against Gram-negative infections based near Paris, France. Nimbus has acquired the Centrifugal Castings Division of Doncaster’s Group for an undisclosed sum. The division comprises of Teeside based Paralloy and South Yorkshire based FVC both providing specialist engineered products that service domestic and international markets in the petrochemicals, and aerospace industries respectively.Nimbus has backed the senior management team, led by Chief Executive Robert McGowan, to acquire the business and will use its pan European footprint to support Paralloy and FVC’s growth and export plans.
