SS&C Intralinks LP Survey
In partnership with Private Equity Wire (PEW), SS&C Intralinks has published the 2020 LP Survey. This is the third year that SS&C Intralinks have partnered with PEW to poll, interview and analyse data from global limited partners (LPs), which this year totalled 182.

BlackRock Real Assets has achieved a USD1 billion first close for its Global Renewable Power III fund (GRP III,) with commitments from over 35 institutional investors in North America, Europe and Asia. Amundi Private Equity Funds (Amundi PEF) has launched the second-generation of its investment program targeting European SMEs benefiting from disruptive global trends. The Unión Martín Group, a company backed by Alantra Private Equity, has completed the acquisition of a significant stake in the Mauritanian fishing company Societé Mauritanienne pour la Pêche Industrielle (SMPI), which has three freezer vessels and a fishing capacity of circa 700 tonnes per year. As a fundamental part of the agreement, its Mauritanian partner, Mohamed Lemine Laroussi, maintains a significant stake and continues managing the company.   Unión Martín already had exclusive agreements for the supply of raw material captured by SMPI, so this acquisition will allow it to obtain the margin generated by the ship-owner at sourcing.

Private equity firm Edison Partners has promoted Jennifer Lee to Principal with immediate effect. Lee, a senior member of the firm’s Fintech investment team and investment lead, continues to support portfolio companies in their growth. She will also now help in developing industry themes and overseeing pipeline development. As Vice President, Lee led investments earlier this year in Fund That Flip, a real estate investment and funding platform, and Bipsync, a research management platform for asset managers.
