Law firm Paul Hastings is adding a three-partner transatlantic private equity team from Hogan Lovells in the firm’s London and Washington DC offices.

Cairngorm Capital Partners (Cairngorm Capital) has acquired Fairalls (Builders’ Merchants) Limited (Fairalls), which now joins Cairngorm Capital’s other building merchant brands, Parkers Building Supplies and Stamco, creating what the firm says is the largest independent builders’ merchant group in the South East. of England.

Maven Capital Partners (Maven), has led a GBP650,000 investment in Manchester-headquartered passenger transfers booking platform Ski-Lifts Limited (Ski-Lifts).
A total of GBP500,000 has been invested by NPIF – Maven Equity Finance, part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund and a GBP150,000 was provided by the Greater Manchester Loan Fund (GMLF), also managed by Maven.
The funding will support Ski-Lift’s growth strategy as it expands into new areas, including golf and cruise and ground transport markets.
