John Harris, Crestbridge
Crestbridge has appointed former Director General of the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC), John Harris, as non-executive Chairman of the Crestbridge Group, effective 1 January 2019. This newly created role reflects the significant success and growth of the Group, which now employs over 280 staff across its offices in Bahrain, the Cayman Islands, Jersey, London and Luxembourg.   Bringing extensive private and public sector experience in international financial services institutions to the role, Harris (pictured), will join Crestbridge as one of a small number of professional and non-executive director commitments following his retirement from the JFSC earlier in the year.

Private equity firm TA Associates is to invest, alongside GI Partners, in Netsmart Technologies (Netsmart) a healthcare software company delivering management process solutions and electronic medical records to the health and human services (HHS) and post-acute end markets. TA Associates and GI Partners, a current shareholder in Netsmart, will acquire the stake in Netsmart held by Allscripts Healthcare Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: MDRX). The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2018 and is subject to customary closing conditions. EQT has held the final closing of its second European direct lending fund, EQT Mid-Market Credit II (the fund) with commitments equivalent to EUR2.3 billion of available capital, including anticipated leverage.
