Private investment firm Littlejohn & Co has held the final closing of Littlejohn Fund VI, with USD2.84 billion of committed capital, exceeding the fund’s target of USD2.5 billion. The firm’s previous fund, Littlejohn Fund V, with USD2.0 billion of committed capital, was raised in 2014.

Salveo Capital, an alternative investment firm specialising in the legalised cannabis space, has completed an investment in Harborside.
The investment, which is part of a Series B funding for Harborside, will help facilitate the company’s expansion throughout California and further improve its supply chain.

Crossroads Holding, a portfolio company of private equity company Revelstoke Capital Partners (Revelstoke), has completed its acquisition of EHC Medical Offices (EHC).
The transaction marks Revelstoke’s 50th acquisition since its founding in 2013. The transactions represent 13 platform companies and 37 add-on acquisitions, totalling over USD4 billion of enterprise value.
Revelstoke’s investments have focussed primarily in high growth healthcare services sub sectors, such as physical therapy, ophthalmology, home care, healthcare information technology, healthcare education, rural urgent care, and behavioural health. A business which allows recruiters to test the skills of IT professionals and hire the right people has secured a GBP500,000 investment from the North East Venture Fund, supported by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by Mercia Fund Managers.

Congruex, an end-to-end provider of design, engineering, construction management and maintenance services to broadband service providers, has acquired White Construction Co. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1995 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, White Construction is a telecom-focused self-perform construction company, specialising primarily in underground construction work with particular expertise in fibre-to-the-home, fibre-to-the-premises, and fibre optic interconnect projects. White Construction also has aerial, splicing, and cutover capabilities.

Independent fund and corporate services provider, the Aztec Group, has appointed Joel Kavyu as an Associate Director within its private equity team.
Based in Jersey, Kavyu will lead a relationship team and oversee the delivery of fund accounting, financial reporting, investor services and a range of other administration activities to a significant private equity client.

Cryptech World, an investment firm acquired by private equity investor Berkeley Assets in June last year, is on a mission to bring blockchain and cryptocurrencies to retail investors.
Omar Jackson (pictured), director of Cryptech World, explains that the company’s USD50 million fund is 80 per cent invested in venture capital projects based on cryptocurrencies and blockchain and 20 per cent invested in cryptocurrencies themselves.
Performance year to date is 40 per cent up in the cryptocurrency portfolio and 70 per cent up in the venture capital segment. The next few weeks will see Cryptech World offering a venture capital only fund.
Departing Jersey Finance CEO, Geoff Cook, is to join law firm Mourant as a consultant in early 2019.
