Dalmore Capital (Dalmore) and GLIL Infrastructure LLP (GLIL) are to acquire, on a 50/50 basis, a 15 per cent interest in Anglian Water Group (AWG) from 3i. AWG manages water and water recycling services in the East of England and Hartlepool, and is the largest water and sewerage company in England and Wales by geographic area. Measured by Regulated Capital Value (RCV) it is the fourth largest water company.   AWG supplies and services circa 2 million households and 124,000 business connections, delivering approximately 1.1 billion litres of water every day as the primary source. FRP Advisory has boosted its national Corporate Finance team with the appointment of Adrian Alexander as partner based in the firm’s Brighton office. Funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management have completed the placement of EUR135 million of debt secured against a majority stake in Eolia Renovables de Inversiones SCR (Eolia) with Brookfield’s infrastructure debt business. The transaction was used to finance a dividend recapitalisation to Oaktree and cover transaction costs. The debt raised represents the largest transaction of its kind performed on a pure-play Spanish dedicated Renewables IPP, highlighting the attractive credit characteristics Eolia offers the broad International investor community. Independent fund and corporate services provider, the Aztec Group, has appointed private equity expert, Gavin Hayman, as a Director in their Guernsey office. Hayman will form part of the team responsible for developing and leading the delivery of the Aztec Group’s private equity fund services’ client proposition in Guernsey. Day-to-day he will ensure the effective management of client relationships for both the Guernsey office and across the firm’s other jurisdictions. Terms of the transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, have not been disclosed.
