Private equity firm Sentinel Capital Partners has acquired Captain D’s, the franchisor and operator of 530 Captain D’s restaurants in 21 US states. Terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Unilever has received a binding offer from KKR to purchase its global Spreads business for EUR6.825 billion on a cash-free, debt-free basis. Egeria has held the first and final closing of the Egeria Private Equity Fund V, having raised EUR800 million in capital commitments in a record time of just six weeks. Agilitas-backed Relita, the Swedish division of Recover Nordic group, a provider of damage control, emergency response and environmental services, has agreed to acquire Betongborrargruppen i Mälardalen AB (BBG), a company specialising in specialist demolition and remediation of concrete for real estate projects in Sweden.
