CAMRADATA, a provider of data and analysis for institutional investors, has acquired specialist publishing business, Funds Europe Limited – a move that will boost CAMRADATA’s research arm, expand its publishing capabilities and events business and extend its database reach into Europe. Outsourced investment office Partners Capital has added to its senior management team with the promotions of David Shushan and Toby Joll from Managing Director to Partner. Four other promotions from Senior Principal to Managing Director were announced. This takes the firm to 17 Partners and Managing Directors, led by Stan Miranda as Founder and CEO.   Based in Boston, Shushan was promoted to Partner. Schönes Leben Group, a subsidiary of independent private equity company Waterland, has purchased Ulm-based care specialist compassio, the operator of 28 care homes for elderly people with 3,058 spaces in southern Germany. The acquisition has taken the recently established Schönes Leben Group on its first steps towards becoming an outstanding platform for retirement care, new ways of living for older people and innovative packages for retirees from the age of 65. AMP Capital has increased its stake in the Victorian Desalination Project (VDP) on behalf of investors in its Community Infrastructure Fund (CommIF). VDP was delivered as a public private partnership (PPP) and is the largest desalination plant in the Southern Hemisphere. It is a rainfall-independent source of drinking water and capable of supplying up to 150 gigalitres a year, which is approximately one third of Melbourne’s annual water consumption.    CommIF has bought a 4.55 per cent stake in VDP from Suez, taking AMP Capital’s share of VDP to 9.75 per cent.  CommIF took out a 5.2 per cent stake
