Private equity investor Equistone Partners Europe Limited (Equistone) has acquired BFT Mastclimbing (BFT), a specialist for the specification, rental, and installation of Mast Climbing Work Platforms (MCWPs).
Equistone has acquired a majority stake in the company, investing alongside current CEO and founder Robin Head. Financial terms of the deal have not been dislcosed.

The majority of global investors polled in a new survey for the launch of Invest Week believe Europe has become a more attractive investment destination and expect investment to increase.
For the Global Investment Decision Makers Survey, commissioned by Invest Europe, Ipsos MORI surveyed 360 senior-level corporate and financial investment decision makers at companies from the US, China, Germany, the UK and France. D’Ieteren and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) are in exclusive discussions under which CD&R-managed funds would acquire a 40 per cent ownership interest in the Belron group, a specialist in the vehicle glass repair and replacement (VGRR) market.
Under the proposed agreement, D’Ieteren and management would retain the remaining 60 per cent ownership interest in the company. Ancala Midstream Acquisitions (Ancala Midstream) has completed its acquisition of Apache’s interests in the Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) System and the Beryl Gas Pipeline for an undisclosed sum.
Ancala Midstream has been appointed as operator of both systems.
Ancala Midstream has been established by Ancala Partners, the independent mid-market infrastructure investment manager, as a platform to make and manage investments in North Sea midstream oil and gas infrastructure. The annual report provides a comprehensive analysis of the performance of funds in Jersey and offers an insight into the primary service providers, including their overall market share.
