AMP Capital has made a number of changes to its leadership team, designed to better support clients and the firm’s future growth in key asset classes and regions. Craig Keary, currently AMP Capital director of Australia and New Zealand, will become AMP Capital director, Asia Pacific. Keary will retain responsibility for Australia and New Zealand and assume leadership of AMP Capital’s operations in Beijing, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Elvie, the female-led British company dedicated to developing smarter technology for women’s health and lifestyle, has raised GBP5 million in a series A funding round led by Octopus Ventures with participation from female focused VC AllBright. Marwyn Value Investors has launched a new management platform, Wilmcote Holdings, in partnership with Adrian Whitfield, who has been appointed as its chief executive officer. Whitfield recently spent nine years implementing a turnaround and growth strategy at Synthomer, the UK listed specialty polymer operator.   Over his nine year tenure, he more than doubled operating profits and increased Synthomer's market capitalisation from circa GBP300 million to over GBP800 million. Law firm Reed Smith has appointed Parik Dasgupta as a partner in the firm’s global corporate group in New York.
