The International Stock Exchange (TISE) has launched its presence in the Isle of Man. Cyber London (CyLon), the dedicated cyber security accelerator, has announced the eight security start-ups participating in its fifth programme. CyLon has already accelerated 31 companies since its launch in April 2015. CyLon writes that its cyber security accelerator consists of a three-month programme where entrepreneurial teams with innovative and disruptive business ideas are provided with access to expert training and guidance from an accomplished network of mentors and investors to bring their product to market. Growth private equity firm TA Associates has completed an investment in Ideal Cures Private Limited, a supplier of ready-to-use coating products and excipients for tablets and capsules to the pharmaceutical and allied industries. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.   Founded in 1999 in India, Ideal Cures’ products are used to provide aesthetic coatings as well as functional coatings for tablets and capsules. Aesthetic sugar or film coatings allow for swallowability and taste masking. They also aid brand recognition, authentication and differentiation. BlackRock Real Assets, on behalf of clients, has closed a long-term debt financing for Ellevio, the regulated Swedish electricity distribution system operator. Rush, the hair and beauty brand that was backed by private equity firm LDC earlier this year, has appointed former Costa Coffee managing director Christopher Rogers as its non-executive chairman, with immediate effect. Rogers has over 11 years of experience as a main board director of Whitbread, the UK’s largest hospitality company, where he held roles as group finance director and managing director of Costa Coffee, one of the world’s leading coffee chains. He led Costa Coffee’s global expansion, during which time profits increased from GBP69 million to GBP153 million, and global store numbers increased from 2,200 to over 3,200.
Ipes, a provider of outsourced services to private equity in Europe, has appointed Sumindra Bains-Cleary and David Bateman.
