Fountain Quail Water Management has secured a private equity commitment of up to USD40 million to expand its North American operations. Established in 1996, Fountain Quail specialises in treating and recycling produced and flowback water generated in oil and gas plays. Fountain Quail’s two proprietary systems, ROVER and NOMAD, cut oil and gas producers’ water-specific operating costs by effectively eliminating the need to transport and dispose of wastewater and source and transport freshwater. Omnes Capital has sold a European portfolio of more than 100 MW of renewable energy assets via its Capenergie funds to EOS Holding, a Swiss player in the new renewable energy sector. This acquisition will enable EOS Holding to increase its capacity in renewables, particularly at the level of ground-mounted solar power plants.    The portfolio consists of four wind farms and four solar power plants located in France and Portugal. Overall, 2015 witnessed a movement towards larger European private equity deals, with total deal value increasing by 38.4 per cent, while total volume slipped by 9.7 per cent. As a result, average deal value increased by 53.2 per cent.
