Nasdaq and the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) are to form a jointly-operated venture to support private growth companies in Israel.
The venture, which will operate out of Tel Aviv, will offer various benefits to private companies including strategic counselling and mentoring, exclusive networking, a secondary market for liquidity events and debt financing services. The private market will have an independent management team chosen by both exchanges. Further details of the venture will be announced during first half of 2016.

Middle-market private equity firm Highlander Partners has sold MEDI-system to the Paris Euronext listed ORPEA, a European specialist in long-term, post-acute and psychiatric care services.
For the last four years, MEDI-system, Poland's number one private dependency care provider, was a Highlander Partners' investment. ORPEA has acquired 90 per cent of the shares of MEDI-system, with the remaining 10 per cent retained by Dr Marcin Zawadzki, the founder of MEDI-system and its CEO for many years.

Private equity firm Vista Equity Partners has named Kenneth Frank as CEO of the newly combined global commerce solutions company formed by Vista’s November acquisition and merger of retail software leaders MarketLive and Shopatron.

Technology infrastructure provider Six Degrees Group (6DG) has launched a GBP12 million organic investment programme to support the company’s business growth plans for 2016.
The substantial additional capital investment comes six months after funds managed by Charlesbank Capital Partners acquired 6DG with the goal of building the UK’s largest mid-market managed services provider. With a commitment to recruit 50 people, 6DG will be building and developing its sales, marketing and customer service teams, amongst others, to service its growing customer and partner base. The GBP12m investment for growth is a purely organic play, designed to complement 6DG’s ongoing ambitious acquisition agenda.
