New York-based private equity firm Aquiline Capital Partners has made an investment in OmegaFi, a provider of financial, membership management, and fundraising software and support solutions for college fraternities and sororities across the United States.
OmegaFi's suite of services helps fraternal organisations at the local and national levels bill and collect dues and rent, manage rosters and records, pay bills and employees, file tax returns, build websites, publish newsletters, conduct fundraising campaigns and process payments.

Private markets investor HarbourVest Partners is opening new offices in Seoul, South Korea and Tel Aviv, Israel, taking the firm’s global presence to nine locations around the world.
The firm’s new locations in Seoul and Tel Aviv will be led by Principal Minjun Chung and Ilan Rosen, respectively.

Crescent Capital Group has held the final close of the Crescent European Specialty Lending Fund with more than EUR500 million of investor commitments, bringing the total deployable capital available to the strategy to approximately EUR650 million.

Investors remain bullish about private equity with average annual return expectations – net of fees, expenses and carried interest – of 11.7 per cent IRR and 1.6x multiple of cost (MoC) for managers that begin investing today.
That’s according to a survey by fundraising and secondaries advisory firm Rede, which reveal that for top-quartile managers this increases to a net IRR of 17.4 per cent and 2.0x net MoC.
The survey included responses from a broad range of investors (pension funds, fund of funds, endowments and consultants) based in Europe, North America and the rest of the world.

The John Laing Environmental Asset Group (JLEN) has acquired Burton Wold Extension wind farm from John Laing Group (John Laing) for a cash consideration, including working capital, of GBP21.8 million.
Burton Wold Extension wind farm is located near Burton Latimer in Northamptonshire and comprises nine General Electric 1.6MW-100 turbines with a total generating capacity of 14.4MW and is accredited for 0.9 ROCs. The site has been operational since September 2014.
