Investec Specialist Bank (Investec) has appointed Mark Buttler (pictured) to lead its Growth & Acquisition Finance (GAF) team in the north of England.
Buttler joins Investec after eight years with private equity firm Key Capital Partners (KCP), where he held the position of director. 250 million. Private Advisors and its employees, along with parent organization New York Life, committed approximately USD
51 million, demonstrating alignment with investors and continued confidence in the strategy. Fund VI is comprised of a diverse client base with over 50% of the capital committed from existing investors in prior funds. KKR has held the final closing of KKR Global Infrastructure Investors II, a USD3.1 billion global fund focused on identifying, pursuing, executing, and managing infrastructure investments with an emphasis on OECD countries.
The Fund will follow KKR’s existing infrastructure investment strategy, which stems from the firm’s belief that there is – and will continue to be – a growing need to replace, upgrade and expand infrastructure across the globe. The US IPO market came back to life in the second quarter of 2015, surging 83 per cent in volume and 111 per cent in proceeds raised, compared to the first quarter of 2015, according to IPO Watch, a quarterly survey by PwC US.
There were 75 IPOs completed in the second quarter of 2015 which raised more than USD13 billion, a significant increase over the first quarter’s 41 IPOs and USD6.2 billion in proceeds. The second quarter’s volume was generally consistent with 2013 and 2014, despite slowing economic growth forecasts in the US and the uncertain interest rate environment.
Noerr has advised the automotive supplier Neue Halberg Guss on the takeover of the South African foundry Atlantis Foundries (AF). The seller is Mercedes Benz South Africa.
With this acquisition, Neue Halberg Guss is strengthening its business in the truck and commercial vehicles sector. Atlantis Foundries specialises in casting cylinder blocks for commercial vehicles and besides Daimler also supplies engine manufacturers in the UK and the USA. The Daimler group remains an important customer after the takeover.

Private equity firm Neff Capital Management has established a new company to focus on the additive manufacturing of production parts for aerospace and defense original equipment manufacturers around the world.
Additive manufacturing, also known as 3-D printing, is the process by which a component is fabricated through the successive layering of material at a microscopic level on a build platform.
