EQT Infrastructure has agreed to acquire leading Spanish car park operator Acciona Aparcamientos from Spanish infrastructure and renewable energy group Acciona S.A. The investment is the first for EQT Infrastructure in Spain. Acciona Aparcamientos is a leading operator in the Spanish car park sector managing 29 car parks in Spain and Andorra. All car parks are operational and have a total of around 16,000 spaces. The portfolio is well spread geographically throughout mainland Spain, reaching also the Canary and Balearic islands. Border Foods, Inc, a portfolio company of Ares Capital Corporation (Ares Capital), has been sold to strategic buyer Mizkan Americas, Inc, a subsidiary of Japan-based Mizkan Group Corporation (Mizkan). Specialist European real estate private equity firm Peakside Capital has acquired 80 Hammersmith Road, London from Scottish Amicable Life Assurance Society on behalf of the Peakside Real Estate Fund I (PREF I). The building, located in the heart of Hammersmith, currently comprises 41,574 sq ft of net lettable area over six floors and has 41 parking spaces. Peakside will take vacant possession on completion of the acquisition and will execute an extensive reconfiguration plan.
