London-based private equity firm PX3 Partners has agreed to acquire Cofimco, a global provider of engineered air moving solutions used in industrial cooling applications, from publicly-listed, US-headquartered Chart Industries.
Dan Dickinson, Managing Partner at HCI Equity Partners, a lower middle market private equity firm that focuses on partnering with founder-owned distribution, manufacturing and service companies, is to transition to the role of Executive Chairman. 
IK Partners’ IK VIII Fund is to sell its stake in Klingel Medical Group, a full-service provider of complex high-end medical technology components and custom products, to medical equipment manufacturer Elos Medtech.
Tiger Global Management
Walmart has paid $1.4bn to acquire Tiger Global Management’s remaining stake in Flipkart, in a deal that values the Indian e-commerce giant at $35bn, according to a report by Bloomberg, citing a letter sent by Tiger Global to investors.
Glendower Capital, CVC’s secondaries platform, has held the final close of its fifth global secondary private equity fund, Glendower Capital Secondary Opportunities Fund V, with aggregate capital commitments of $5.8bn.
Buyout giant Warburg Pincus has appointed Andrew Sibbald,  the chairman of Evercore Partners’s London-based business, as a Managing Director and the private equity firm’s new Co-Head of Europe alongside Berlin-based René Obermann.
Funds advised by Apax Partners and Fremman Capital are to jointly acquire co-controlling stakes in Palex Medical, from funds advised by current majority shareholder Fremman, and other minority shareholders in a deal that values the business at around €1bn.
OAG, the provider of a data platform for the global travel industry, has acquired Infare, a provider of competitor air travel data, from private equity firm Ventiga Capital in a deal valuing the combined entity at over $500m. 
Epiris, via Epiris Fund III, is to acquire Pure Cremation, a provider of prepaid funeral plans in the UK. The deal, Fund III’s third investment, is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to complete before the end of this year. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
Fundraising
Thirty four new private credit funds raised a combined $71.2bn in capital commitments in the second quarter of the year, more than double the figure raised in the previous three months, according to a report by Bloomberg.
