Hunter Point Capital has raised $2.66 billion for its debut fund, Hunter Point Capital Fund I, a GP stakes investment vehicle, exceeding its original target of $2.5 billion, according to a report by BuyoutsInsider.
Private market interest in ESG is on the rise, but concerns around data quality and transparency continue to be a challenge for investors. In a 2021 FTSE Russell survey, 59% of global asset owners cited the lack of standardization in ESG data, scores, and ratings as the largest roadblock to increased adoption of sustainable investment.

Software and technology focused private investment firm Vista Equity Partners, has entered into discussions with private credit funds over a $6 billion deal to refinance the debt of portfolio company Finastra Group Holdings Ltd, according to a report by Mergers & Acquisitions.
Nestlé and private equity firm PAI Partners are to set up a joint venture for Nestlé’s frozen pizza business in Europe. Through the PAI Mid-Market Fund, which is dedicated to mid-market opportunities, PAI will have equal non-controlling stakes with equal voting rights. 
LCM Partners has held the final close of the Credit Opportunities 4 Strategy, with total capital commitments of €4.1 billion across the commingled fund together with several separately managed accounts. 
Ares Management Corporation, a global alternative investment manager, has launched the Ares Strategic Income Fund, a perpetual capital, continuously offered, non-traded business development company, with around $1.5 billion in initial investable capital.

Bowmark Capital, a private equity investment firm, specialising in investments in UK mid-market companies valued at up to £250 million, has promoted Simon Kaufman to partner.  Kaufman joined the firm in 2016 from KPMG having spent eight years in its transaction services team, and since joining the firm has played a key role in the development of the firm’s managed IT services and software practices. Kaufman has been involved in a number of investments at Bowmark including Littlefish, Focus Group, ASK4, Tax Systems, Kubrick and The Instant Group. JC Flowers & Co, a private equity firm dedicated to investing globally in the financial services industry, has appointed Dr Shujaat Nadeem as a senior advisor, effective immediately. Nadeem will advise the JCF team and support portfolio companies through their development under JCF’s ownership.
AXA IM Alts, a specialist in alternative investments with over €186 billion of assets under management, has appointed Victoria Hall to the newly created role of Head of Funds, Infrastructure. Based in London, Hall will report directly to Mark Gilligan, AXA IM Alts’ Head of Infrastructure.  Hall will be responsible for supporting the growth of AXA IM Alts’ infrastructure platform, overseeing investment execution, portfolio management and the implementation of ESG and sustainable finance disclosure obligations.
