Kofax, a supplier of intelligent automation software for digital workflow transformation, backed by TA Associates and Clearlake Capital Group, has acquired Ephesoft Inc.  The acquisition adds to Kofax’s intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions and go-to-market channels. With global coverage and cloud solutions, the combined company will provide organisations with value-add solutions to accelerate deployments. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Kofax will continue supporting Ephesoft’s products and customers, and Ike Kavas, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Ephesoft, will continue leading the firm’s organisational efforts. Solsten has raised $21.8 million in a Series B round, bringing its total funding to $31 million since inception in 2018.
