JPIN, the largest bilateral bank across UK and India has raised $20 million in Seed to Series A commitments to support high-growth early-stage businesses at a a fintech global investor meet.
JPIN is aiming to raise another $35 million through relationships made during the pitch day in collaboration with leading global investors.
The Pitch Day hosted over 40 international investors who were presented with Seed to Series A Fintech startup deals.
Ironbridge Equity Partners (Ironbridge) together with certain other minority investors, has completed the sale of Thermogenics to an entity controlled by Audax Private Equity (Audax).
The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Over the course of its investment, Ironbridge supported management’s efforts to expand the Canadian presence of Thermogenics, establish a US footprint via acquisitions and greenfield growth, and improve internal systems and processes.
Thermogenics was the eighth investment in Ironbridge’s second private equity vehicle, Ironbridge Equity Partners II, LP, a fully committed $154 million fund.
Victory Park Capital (VPC) has added Chad Clamage, principal, and Ahmed Eltamami, vice president, to the firm’s investment team.
Clamage and Eltamami are primarily responsible for sourcing, analysing, executing and managing investments within legal finance. They will work closely with Luke Darkow, Principal, and Richard Levy, chief executive officer, chief investment officer & founder, who leads the legal finance strategy at VPC.
Clamage brings several years of experience in legal finance to VPC. Most recently, he was a vice president at Burford Capital, where he underwrote and managed litigation finance investments.
Eltamami was previously an associate on the quantitative team

Victor Capital Partners (Victor Capital), a middle market private equity firm investing in branded, mission-driven companies in specialty consumer, industrial technology, and business service industries, is to sell PrimaLoft to Compass Diversified.
PrimaLoft is specialist in the research and development of advanced insulations and fabrics that global brands use to deliver high performance and comfort while also reducing impact on the environment.
Victor Capital acquired a majority interest in PrimaLoft in 2017 in partnership with the management team, which maintained a significant investment in the business.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including receipt of required regulatory approvals,
Accelex, a SaaS platform for alternative investment data, has made two key additions to its global sales team – Simon Tang has joined the company as its new director of business development in North America, and Marco Loiacono as the new director of EMEA Sales, based in London.
Each will be responsible for expanding and servicing Accelex’s growing client base of asset owners, asset servicers, fund of funds, secondaries investors and advisors in their respective regions.

Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has strengthened its corporate finance practice, and life sciences and technology sector capabilities, with the appointment of Kristian Shearsby as a partner in its London office.
Shearsby is a corporate lawyer who specialises in the life sciences and technology sectors. He advises businesses on a broad range of matters across all stages of their development – from early-stage to publicly listed companies – including venture capital investments, private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, equity capital markets, joint ventures and general corporate advisory work.

Venture capital firm Santa Barbara Venture Partners (SBVP) has held the final close of its $11 million inaugural Fund I focused primarily on investing in tech and tech-enabled firms.
SBVP offers a unique value-add – the firm and its 70-plus investor roster, made up largely of global marketing executives, helps its portfolio companies with customer acquisition and marketing.
To date, SBVP has made nine investments including Bark Technologies, Voltaiq, Specright, Classy, Nice Healthcare, Hydrosat, Jackpocket, Rad AI, and Curri.
Mr Christmas, a multi-generational family-owned holiday décor business, has secured a capital investment from Sachs Capital and its affiliated entities.
The transaction is the final investment of Sachs Capital Fund II, which is managed by Andrew Sachs and provides flexible, non-control, long-term capital to successful entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses.
Mr Christmas was founded in 1933 by the Hermanson family, and this is the Company’s first outside capital investment since that time.
The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
