Oghma Partners has acted as exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of UK-based KTC Edibles Limited (KTC) on the sale of the business to UK-based private equity investor Endless. KTC is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of edible oils, supplying over 250 million litres a year of high-quality cooking oils to manufacturers, retailers and wholesalers in the UK and globally. An energy broker that helps businesses to reduce bills has received a further £500,000 in funding from the North East Venture Fund (NEVF), supported by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by Mercia. Private equity investor AnaCap Financial Partners’ portfolio company Gestión Tributaria Territorial (GTT), a provider of software services for tax administration, has acquired the electronic administrations division of the Meana Group. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Global private equity investor Advent International (Advent), and specialty chemicals company LANXESS are establishing a joint venture have formed a joint-venture to acquire engineering materials business (DEM) from Dutch group Royal DSM.
