London-based consultancy firm, GRAPH Strategy, has provided Commercial Due Diligence to support two private equity firms with investments into rapidly growing technology businesses. In March 2022, Farview Equity Partners, a European growth equity investor, made an equity investment in Amplience, the  leading commerce experience platform. Amplience was founded in 2008, and since then has made its mark by simplifying how content and commerce teams at the world’s best brands and retailers manage and deliver omnichannel commerce experiences. HIG Capital (HIG), a global alternative investment firm with over $49 billion of capital under management, has appointed Oliver Slade as a managing director, based in Dubai. Slide, who will be responsible for capital raising and investor relations activities in the Middle East, has been based in the region since 2008 and has over 17 years of experience in alternative assets. An affiliate of HIG Capital (HIG), a global alternative investment firm with over $49 billion of equity capital under management, is to acquire Terra Millennium Corporation (Terra Millennium), a national provider of outsourced industrial maintenance services, including refractory maintenance and other specialised services, from Court Square Capital Partners. Terra Millennium’s executive team, led by CEO Bryan Young, will continue to lead the Company, and remain as significant shareholders. Executive Chairman Mark Stutzman will continue as a non-executive board member and significant shareholder. The transaction, which is expected to close in Q2 2022, is subject to customary closing conditions.
Helios Investment Partners has appointed Wale Ayeni to head its venture capital strategy and launch Helios Digital Ventures. Ayeni was until recently at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, where he was head of venture capital investments across Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.  Prior to joining the IFC, Ayeni led venture capital investments in Silicon Valley for Orange, the French telecoms company. He started his career as a microprocessor design engineer with Intel Corp. and later Qualcomm, before moving to JP Morgan’s Technology Investment Banking group in San Francisco. Helios
Neighbourly, a community investment and engagement platform for business, has raised an additional £1.6 million in an accelerator investment round led by Guinness Ventures. This latest funding round takes the total investment raised to date by the company to £8 million ($10 million). Stafford Capital Partners (Stafford), an international private markets investment and advisory group, has invested approximately EUR100 million through a secondary transaction in DIF Capital Partners’ (DIF) fifth flagship infrastructure fund, DIF Infrastructure V. Stafford acquired the investment from a single UK corporate pension scheme. The pension scheme sold the stake following a change in strategy that has seen it exit several fund holdings across its private markets portfolio in recent years.
