SaaS ELT Rivery has raised $30 million in a series B funding round led by Tiger Global Management alongside existing investors State Of Mind Ventures and Entrée Capital.
This financing follows last year’s A round, and brings the total venture capital raised to date to $48 million.
Rivery provides a single end-to-end ELT solution which covers key processes to create the optimal data stack: Ingestion, Transformation, Orchestration and Reverse ETL.
Ridge Ventures, a seed and early-stage, enterprise-focused venture capital firm whose investments include Bolt, Braze, and Discord, has appointed Akriti Dokania as a partner.
Dokania will contribute to the firm’s enterprise investments by drawing on her experience as a product leader and technologist, as well as years of experience as a venture investor.
Dokania spent the last four years at Octopus Ventures, investing in early-stage B2B and Deep tech startups such as LifeScore (backed by Warner Music Group), vHive, ThoughtRiver, and more. She also helped exit companies like UltraSoC (acquired by Siemens) and BehavioSec (acquired by LexisNexis).
Quilvest Capital Partners (Quilvest) together with IK Partners (IK) have entered into an exclusivity agreement to sell their respective stakes in Groupe EDH (GEDH) to Five Arrows Principal Investments (FAPI), alongside the current members of existing management team who will be reinvesting.
A potential reinvestment from both Quilvest and IK is under review and being considered.
Quilvest first partnered with GEDH in November 2017 with IK joining in February 2020, having acquired a minority stake from Quilvest and Amin Khiari, Chairman and CEO of the Group.
A new £20 million fund, the ‘GMC Life Sciences Fund by Praetura’ has launched with the aim of bolstering Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Warrington’s flourishing life sciences sector.
The fund, raised by partners including Bruntwood SciTech, Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), will be deployed by Manchester-based Praetura Ventures.
The fund is aiming to support innovation and growing the region’s knowledge economy, creating more skilled jobs and helping businesses to expand internationally.
GMCA has committed £10 million to the fund, whilst Cheshire and Warrington LEP and Bruntwood SciTech have both committed £5
Polaris, a Nordic mid-market private equity investor, is to divest its majority shareholding in SSG Group to BELFOR, a provider of disaster recovery services.
SSG Group has strengthened its market position significantly in partnership with Polaris since the acquisition in 2019. Polaris has supported SSG Group’s development to create a Nordic market leader and participate in the ongoing consolidation of the market through acquisitions in Denmark and Sweden.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the sales price.

OGCI Climate Investments (OGCI CI), a specialist decarbonisation investor, has today led an investment round of over £15 million for Converge alongside participation from existing investors.
Converge is a technology company accelerating decarbonisation in the construction sector with its intelligence platform fusing physical and construction data.
OGCI CI’s Series A preferred stock financing will support further product development, allowing Converge to build an independent, objectively-verifiable data model of construction and become the digital enabler for decarbonisation of the entire sector.
Converge’s ambition is to reduce average cement content in concrete by ~15%.
